ODE TO THE HUMBLE PEACH
Posted On August 4, 2022
O roundish fruit of summertime,
how rosy red and fair,
Your fuzzy skin and juicy taste
are wafting through the air.
O, beautiful peach!
Pinnacle of summer snacks!
My teeth sink into your soft skin,
how sweet, how good the taste!
Peachy juice streams down my chin,
never shall we waste!
O beautiful peach!
Pinnacle of summer snacks!
Go ahead, grab a peach!
Kick off your shoes!
Relax!

Indubitably true! The PEACH, how round and red and fuzzy!
Delectably squishy, deliciously juicy, joyously bouncy!
Excellent work, Abby, I love your poem!
Indeed, indeed! The peach, truly a marvel of creation! How sweet and succulent! How splendiferous!
Thanks, Lilliana!😁
