Playing with some grayscale markers…
Hey y’all! I’ve been doing a bit of art lately, with a set of ‘grayscale palette’ markers that have been sitting in my art cabinet for way too long. Plus, I’ve rediscovered the joy of listening to audiobooks – right now I’m listening to “Going Solo” by Roald Dahl. It’s pretty calming, listening to stories and letting my pen wander.
Anyways, I thought I’d share a couple pictures with you!
This is a page of doodles I did while figuring out how to shade with the markers. Turns out, it works best if you start with the lightest marker and move on the darker colors gradually.
..And THIS is an elephant bookend that is sitting on the desk in front of me, holding up my Greek textbooks. I was really happy with how he came out!
Thanks for reading, have a great night!
