A box of words and a poem
Well, today’s my birthday. And one of my favorite gifts was a box of magnetic words. (700 to be exact.) Assorted words, seemingly random but so fun to smash together into poems and weird sentences. In fact there are so many words that I think I’ll need a third magnetic board to put them on. (Haha.) If you ever need spontaneous inspiration, a box of words is a great way to go.
My sister Ellie helped me write a poem using the words, and she asked for me to post it here. So here you go!
“The Secret Flower” By Ellie and Abby.
And if you liked this, check out my new page, “Words” where I’ll post different magnetic word creations when the inspiration strikes.

Wow. You wouldn’t think a poem so short and simple could be so profound! I’m going to be thinking about that. It’s beautiful!
